Chaired an Opening Ceremony for “Hong Chao Fongkham Nan... Phaan Sai Than Wela”

On December 15th, 2021 Mr. Surapol Teinsoot, the Mayor of Nan Municipality, together with DASTA Nan Youth Club, chaired an opening ceremony for the 2nd Creative Space activity, “Hong Chao Fongkham Nan... Phaan Sai Than Wela” (House of Chao Fongkham, Nan... through the Ages of Time), joined by Mr. Thammanoon Pakthoop, the Managing Director of the Office of the Designated Area 6 and the the sustainable tourism development partners in the designated area of Nan  in order to strengthen its prominence as a UNESCO’s Creative Space partner 

Creative Space activity aims at creating a public space for sharing knowledge and displaying Nan’s craftmanship and local art, with the emphasis on public participation of the relevant stakeholders such as local governmental sectors, educational institutions, and public and private organizations as well as the people of Nan. Covering the four city areas which are the City Wall – City Canal, House of Chao Fongkham, Him Nan Art House and Kong Noi Market, the Creative Space, as a public space for creative use, has been devised to provide Nan’s local artists and craftspeople with an access to the place where they are encouraged to promote the delicacy of their artworks in order to empower them to advance their specialties, paving the way for Nan to become UNESCO’s Creative City in the future.
