DASTA at joint opening cerenomy of "Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2024" with exhibition showcasing its sustainable tourism works at the international level.

 

             On 5 June 2024, Gp. Capt. Athikun Kongmee, Director-General of DASTA attened the joint Opening Ceremony of "Thailand Travel Mart Plus 2024" (TTM+ 2024) at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa, Phang Nga Province. The TTM+ 2024 is a tourism marketing event hosted on 5 - 6 June 2024 by Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), under the collaborations of relevant government and provate entities, with the aim to be an opportunity and platform for B2B business negotiation between both Thai and international tourism businesses with sustainabliltiy and presentation of vaarious tourism products and services at its heart. There are 425 participating businesses from 50 countries worldwide. 

             This event reenforced Thailand's readiness to become a World Tourism Hub under the idea "Amazing Thailand, Your Stories Never End".

             In this event, Director-General of DASTA also welcomed high-levels executives from  National Tourism Organizations of the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) Member States to Thailand and gave interview to an international tourism media from the United Kingdoms on the topic of DASTA's responsibilities and sucessful sustainable tourism developements, to be used as Thailand's touirsm promotions for European markets.

             Moreover, DASTA showcased its sucessful sustainable tourism development results with international recognitions from DASTA's designated areas in an exhibition booth, included the creative tourism activity "DIY Painting - Phi Ta Khon Mask" from Loei Province.
